What if I tell you that the comfortable feeling you get with your ceiling fan or air conditioner unit at home is not enough?
If you’ve been enjoying the benefit of a comfortable atmosphere brought by your cooling devices then you should wake up.
A comfortable atmosphere is not always an indication of a healthy one. Even if you feel cozy and fresh while staying at a well ventilated room, minute organisms that may cause health issues can still be present.
This is especially true if you have a ceiling fan set which role is to circulate the air around an area. Keep in mind that the air present in your room isn’t totally clean, and the more it is circulated the bigger is its tendency to carry on germs and bacteria airborne.
An air purifier is your ceiling fan’s perfect pair.
With an air purifier, you’ll reap the following benefits:
- Fresher air to breath
- Lesser risk to respiratory issues like asthma
- Lesser risk to allergies and skin irritation
- Reduces the risk of kids developing irritation to dust
- Generally helps keep the surrounding conducive and clean for everyone
What you see with your naked eyes is not a guarantee of the ideal environment you want your kids and family to live with. There’s more danger to what we can’t see and as such, the need for preparedness and preemption is a must.
Using air purifiers, the comfort you feel with your cooling device is far from half-true.
Why does it matter?
Asking why air purifiers matter is like asking why health matters. If I ask you why your health matters how will you answer?
Getting an air purifier unit is comparable to stocking a first aid kit at home. The only difference is you use air purifiers more often (daily in fact) to prevent possible health problems while first aid kits are there to aid when something bad happens.
When choosing an air purifier you want to have at home, take note of the two types of filtering system that you’ll encounter: Ionic filters and HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filters
These two run differently in terms of the mechanism by which they clean the atmosphere.
Ionic filters do not really filter the particles but instead charge them to either positive or negative. This results to particles sticking on things inside your place. Meaning the particles are still on your place but are no longer present on air, thus reducing the risk of inhaling dirty air.
HEPA filters on the other hand literally filter air particles. A requirement for an air purifier to obtain the HEPA standard is the ability to filter 99.97% of allergens present in the air including the tiniest ones.
Bottom line is, the healthier the air in your home the healthier your family members are. There’s a limit to how much you appliance can do to help you but preemption is always better than nothing.
Do you have any experience in using an air purifier?
