Ceiling Fans Not Spooked By Hot Halloween
This year’s Indian summer doesn’t want to stop with some parts of the UK reaching a record 23 degrees C on Halloween – the hottest since records began. Very spooky indeed, what is going on?
Many of our customers are thankful that they can still benefit from having a ceiling fan to keep them comfortable in October. Normally you should switch your ceiling fan into reverse mode around september time when the temperatures start to drop to single figures. This means that hot air that is trapped up at the ceiling height can be brought down to floor level warming the floor and saving on energy since the heating thermostat can be turned down a knotch or two. No matter what the weather, hot or cold, you get benefits all the year around from having a decent ceiling fan.
