Beacon Lucci Airfusion Climate Drop Rods
Drop rods are often called extension or down rods. They are important as they bring the ceiling fan down to the correct height for the correct and most efficient operation which is about a meter above head height. The length of the drop rod will be determined by the ceiling height and the drop of the fan. If your ceiling is above 2.8m/9.2 ft then the length of drop rod that needs to be added will be whatever is needed to keep the fan at a 2.6m/8ft 6″ height. If the fan blades are properly balanced then there should be no wobble even with a very long drop rod.
Drop Rod Details
- Compatibility – This drop rod will fit the Beacon Lucci Airfusion Climate ceiling fans. It will also fit the following Beacon models: Airfusion Quest II, Breezer, Bordono, Airfusion Akmani, Moonah, Airfusion Type A, Shoalhaven, Whitehaven fans.
- Finishes – Available in 7 finishes: White, chrome, antique brass, black, brushed nickel, pewter, bright brass.
- Lengths – Available in 3 lengths: 30″/76cm, 48″/122cm or 72″/183cm These rods can be cut-down and simply require a new hole to be drilled for the cotter pin.
- Wiring looms: Extension wiring looms comprising 3 wires are included. These don’t have snap connectors. As these drop rods are a relatively small diameter (approx 20mm) the motor-end connection will need to be soldered and covered in some heat shrink tube.

- Special Orders – Due to the high packaging and handling costs these drop-rods are only available on a special order basis, ie they cannot be returned if you change your mind or decide you don’t need it.
